Acquisition of TFT Terminal in the first half of 2016 has been realized after the acquisition of Samer Seaports Terminals in 2013 which U.N. Ro-Ro has been operating in since its foundation in 1994.

This additional area shall reduce the congestion with new parking spaces and IT & CCTV investments shall let the operations run more effective and in secure.

With the acquisition of TFT Terminal for a total of 51.500 m2 of stores area including 18.000 m2 of cold store area and 30.000m2 open storage areas are now available for our customers.
Re-organization of TFT Terminal shall also enhance intermodal structure of U.N. Ro-Ro in Trieste. Addition of new rail lines to the existing lines, gantry crane investment which would run on the rails shall increase the number of trains operated simultaneously and also speed up the handling process for trailers, containers and project cargoes.

TfT occupies much of the Pier V, which has 32 thousand square meters of ventilated stores, 18,000 square meters of warehouses at controlled temperatures between zero and 14 degrees, 15 thousand square meters of outdoor areas. The terminal is connected to the rail network and can count on 300 meters of quay with 5 berths.
